False Abuse Allegations

False Allegations Against Men

Families — what they where, what many think they should or should not be, and what they ought to be: a permanent union for a man and a woman, the best possible environment in which to raise the next generation of well-functioning citizens, and the healthiest safest, wealthiest and least violent environment for women, men and children.

  • Freedom, Equality, and Society's Treatment of Men and Families

A discussion of the totalitarian roots of the politics of sex and the implementation of the agenda for the planned destruction of our families

The use of force to achieve equality of outcome destroys freedom and families. To bring equality of outcome about for women requires discrimination against men and massive asset- and income-transfers from men to women.  It's a lure that many women find impossible to resist. On the other hand, men, as well as women, are lured also through sexual freedom (the early communists called it "free love") although there is nothing free about free love. Both trends motivate more and more people to forego the altruism of families for the care by Father State via  increasingly harsh, progressive and family-hostile taxation.

In the course of the implementation of the agenda for the planned destruction of our families, in all nations in whom the concept of western chivalry is part of social traditions, men die between six to fourteen years sooner than women.  The two most populous nations on Earth experience virtually no differences in the average life expectancies of the sexes. (Commentary, graphs and a link to the research paper being commented on)

For the first time in the history of research on marriage, Ginther and Zovodny appear to have successfully shown that the "marriage premium" – the tendency of married individuals to make more money than single people – is an actual effect of marriage, and not just a function of a preference shown by both employers and potential spouses for people with qualities likely to bring about success.

The following graph has been constructed from data in the research paper.   It compares hourly wages for three groups of men:

  1. Never married men

  2. Married men whose marriage was not followed by a birth within seven months of marriage., and

  3. Married men whose marriage was followed by a birth within seven months of marriage.

Hourly wages for white males differ with marital and timing of becoming fathers (1970 data)

Quoted from the conclusion of the discussion paper:

Growing up with a single parent harms children for three primary reasons: A disrupted family usually has fewer financial resources to devote to children's upbringing and education, less time and energy to nurture and supervise children, and reduced access to community resources that can supplement and support parents' efforts. Fortunately, none of these factors are beyond the control of parents and society. Thus, to the extent that parents and government can address these risk factors, the effect of father absence on children's wellbeing could be significantly softened....

Note by Fathers for Life: Although the discussion paper presents a fairly good analysis of the consequences of father absence, the primary solution seen by Sara McLanahan for addressing the consequences of father absence is to bring about more and stronger child support enforcement.  That is in addition to ensuring more secure financial circumstances (out of tax revenues) for single-mother families.
Not once does the discussion paper mention, let alone critique, the deplorable drive to systematically destroy the traditional nuclear family and to eliminate the presence of fathers in children's lives.

    • The planned destruction of the family

Some years ago a British journalist returned from Sweden saying: "I have seen the Future and it doesn't work." Despite much evidence of the truth of that observation, many Americans - especially those in sociology and related disciplines - help maintain the belief in the myth that Sweden's Welfare State is still a model for us and others to emulate. ...

Destroying the Family: Swedish Style, By Eric Brodin

That article, published in the Washington Inquirer, was excerpted from Eric Brodin's address given to the Eagle Forum's Annual Conference, Washington, D.C., on September 21, 1985.  It's too bad that nobody heeded it.  The planned destruction of the family, with aims, methods and consequences clearly identified by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels in their Communist Manifesto in 1848/49, is proceeding unabatedly in all developed nations.  See:

    • The Politics of Fatherhood, Stephen Baskerville, Ph.D., Howard University; peer-reviewed article in PS: Political Science and Politics, vol. 35, no. 4 (December 2002).

....Virtually every major social pathology has been linked to fatherlessness: violent crime, drug and alcohol abuse, truancy, teen pregnancy, suicide—all correlate more strongly to fatherlessness than to any other single factor. The majority of prisoners, juvenile detention inmates, high school dropouts, pregnant teenagers, adolescent murderers, and rapists all come from fatherless homes. The connection is so strong that controlling for fatherlessness erases the relationships between race and crime and between low income and crime....

....Fatherlessness and the judicial–bureaucratic machinery connected with it have grown up together as increasingly worldwide phenomena....
    (Full Story)

The planned destruction of the family was part of the communist agenda from its inception by Karl Marx and Frederic Engels.   It became government policy in the USSR in about 1917. It was so successful in the USSR that it threatened to destroy society in the USSR.  Curiously, while in the 1940s the USSR took steps to repair the damages its family-hostile policies had caused, American communists imported the Soviet agenda for the planned destruction of the family into the USA.  It has been and continues to be promoted by left-leaning liberals in the West ever since.

    • Would You Sign This Contract?

An employer can at any time dismiss an employee without justification and have that employee imprisoned if he objects too strongly to his dismissal. For example, if the employee raises his voice in anger he may be arrested for 'violence'. In any event, an employer can dismiss an employee regardless of the circumstances, and at his sole discretion. He can fire him from his job whenever he wishes, no matter how long the employee has served with the company and even if the employee has done absolutely nothing wrong. Further, the employer can insist that the employee is evicted from his own house and never allowed to re-enter it. An employer may further demand that the sacked employee must, under threat of imprisonment, forfeit part of any future income to the employer for some considerable time into the future.

How about the following version?  Do you think that it will be an improvement?

A woman can at any time dismiss her male partner without justification and have that partner imprisoned if he objects too strongly to his dismissal. For example, if he raises his voice in anger he may be arrested for 'domestic violence'. In any event, a woman can dismiss the man regardless of the circumstances and at her sole discretion. She can fire him from his jobs as father and partner whenever she wishes, no matter how long he has served the family and even if he has done absolutely nothing wrong. Further, the woman can insist that the man is evicted from his own house and never allowed to re-enter it. If she has children, a woman may further demand that her sacked partner must, under threat of imprisonment, forfeit part of any future income to the woman and her children for some considerable time into the future - and this the case even if her children turn out not to be his.

See the extensive discussion of the two "contracts," of which the second one is sadly the reality that feminism gradually imposed on society during the last three decades or so.*   For additional details regarding the reality of today's marriages or, for that matter, any relationship between men and women, refer also to advice for men.

    _____________
    * A note of caution: The discussion of the "contracts" makes extensive references to recent US statistics on spousal murders. The assumption in the discussion is that the statistics pertaining to men and women who became victims of spousal murders are equally valid.  That is a wrong assumption.
The declining number of men classified as having been murdered by intimates is most likely do the escalating efforts by feminists to hold women blameless under any and all circumstances.
Men comprise the vast and overwhelming majority of victims in a very large proportion of unsolved murder cases.  It is quite likely that a large proportion of those male victims of these unsolved murder cases are victims of spousal murders.
Furthermore, women are less likely to be suspected, many times more likely than men to be not prosecuted or to be acquitted, twice as likely as men to use contract killers, and more likely than men to have their murder charges pleaded down to lesser charges such as manslaughter or accidental deaths.
Therefore many spousal murders committed by women will never show up as domestic violence crimes.
For a detailed discussion of these circumstances refer to Spousal Homicide and Research, by Eeva Sodhi.
Most importantly, spousal murders comprise a very small proportion of all murders and an insignificant fraction of all causes of deaths, smaller than the deaths caused by surgical misadventure. (See US Leading Causes of Death)

Lest anyone should think that marriage is the most dangerous of all social circumstances for women to be in, consider that married and widowed women have far greater life expectancies than those who never do become married, and that divorced women have a greater risk of dying than those who stay married.

    • The Good News About Welfare Reform
(Sept. 2001) by Robert Rector and Patrick F. Fagan

A Heritage Foundation reportThe report fits right into any discussion of the factors contributing the planned destruction of our families. The conclusion is inescapable:

Welfare to "families" results in farewell to the family.

The report provides hard evidence that a reduction in the easy availability of welfare results without any doubt in a general strengthening of marriages, the reduction of poverty and hunger and, most importantly, a halt to escalating numbers of illegitimate births -- contrary to all of the dire predictions of disaster that were made by feminists and other liberals when they attempted to prevent the Welfare Reform Bill from passing.

The report makes very strong recommendations that, in view of the positive results of the welfare reform in the US, at least 10 percent of the funding for TANF should be used for measures aimed directly at strengthening the family.

    Family Law

In today's society, modern liberals, family-hostile feminists and do-gooders dominate and control the justice system to wage an all-out war on our families. The objective appears to be to remove fathers from the lives of their children. If that concerns you — it should — and if you labour under the illusion that men and their children can obtain equitable justice in the courts, well, think again! Check the Families and the Justice System Index

    • A note about the family courts:

The family court system was set up in the late sixties to alleviate the burden on the civil- and criminal courts. The vastly increased number of divorces that those courts had to deal with then resulted from the divorce-law reforms in the sixties. Divorces were plugging the system because they had become so easily obtainable and presented so many incentives for gaining financial advantages for the litigants and the legal industry.

Of course, the family courts would be flooded and overloaded just the same if it weren't for the fact that equitable and just judicial procedures such as jury trials and the rules of evidence had been deliberately omitted from the family court procedures that were put in place.

It is therefore no surprise that lawyers commonly refer to a family court as "kangaroo court," except when the lawyers become family court judges. Then they want judicial immunity from prosecution for the abuses and denial of due process of the law that the family court system routinely perpetrates.

To help US citizens address these problems, Children's Best Interest created a Citizen's Guide to the Judiciary, so that they may be able to elect proper judges who honestly and judiciously act in the best interest of the children.

    • The [Canadian] Charter — a judicial coup d'etat

    By Joanne Byfield, 2003 03 03

If voters don't support change, government can pay to take it to court

(An article from the SPECIAL EDITION ON REFEDERATIONFull Story

Feminists have been among the most active of the Court Party groups, usually by invoking section 15 of the Charter which prohibits discrimination based on "race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age, or mental or physical disability." (In 1995 in the Egan case, the court added or 'read in" sexual orientation to the list.) Of the 47 feminist cases brought to court between 1982 and 1996, 72% were successful. These included cases on abortion, discrimination in the private sector and pornography. In the Butler pornography case, feminists successfully argued that erotic material was pornographic if it objectified women, not because it offended public morality. At least one feminist testified as an expert witness to support the "artistic merit" claim in Robin Sharpe's 2002 child-pornography trial.

  • (Check the Family Violence Index Page )

After more than thirty years of propaganda directed by family-hostile feminists against men, and after increasing escalation of that propaganda during the last dozen years or so — ever since radical gender activists took over the women's liberation movement — it seems that men "the abusers, batterers, beasts, brutes and rapists" are not even part of the human race, and any women who still fraternize with them are being considered traitors to "the race of women."

Although society's perception of family violence has much to do with the sexes, in as much as it has done an enormous amount of damage to our families by polarizing gender issues and even creating issues that never throughout human history were of much concern to humanity until men became sufficiently demonized and vilified through the propaganda efforts of the radical feminists (a.k.a. redfems), family violence has nothing to do with the sexes.  It is an equal opportunity crime in which a few, very few aberrational individuals from both sexes engage to equal extents.

Family violence is a human failing. It is gender-neutral, or, if anything, more often committed by women than by men. The tragic consequences of the propaganda war against men and families are that the violence against men has become invisible, and the suffering of those of our children who are being tortured, maimed and murdered by their biological mothers is being ignored, ostensibly to safeguard women and "in the best interest of our children." However, two thirds of child abuse is being committed by biological mothers of the children, with natural fathers being nine times less likely to abuse their children. Each year, over 1 million American children suffer the divorce of their parents; moreover, half of the children born this year to parents who are married will see their parents divorce before they turn 18. Mounting evidence in social science journals demonstrates that the devastating physical, emotional, and financial effects that divorce is having on these children will last well into adulthood and affect future generations.
Fiscal conservatives should realize that federal and state governments spend $150 billion per year to subsidize and sustain single-parent families. By contrast, only $150 million is spent to strengthen marriage.
Thus, for every $1,000 spent to deal with the effects of family disintegration, only $1 is spent to prevent that disintegration.

A book by Dale O'Learythat explains the sinister strategy— firmly rooted in communist ideology— for the planned destruction of our families and the role that the UN and the seemingly innocent word gender plays in it. The Gender Agenda is a book that chronicles the successful efforts of radical extremist feminists in using various UN conventions to further their insidious agenda: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Cairo, Egypt, and Beijing, China. (Not covered in the book are Human Habitat II, at Istanbul, Turkey, and the discussions in Rome, Italy relating to the International Criminal Court — both very much targets, too, of the destructive and insidious gender agenda of the radical feminists)

Humanity is experiencing the opening phase of mass Gendercide.

    • Homicide the deliberate killing of a person.

    • Genocide The deliberate killing of a people or a nation.

    • Gendercide The deliberate killing of a gender.

    Standing accused are:

    • Those who have promoted and profited by injustice and hatred.

    • Those who have denigrated, denied and destroyed love between men, women and children.

    • Those who have conspired to deny the future rights of the unborn.

    • Those who have conspired to destroy the lives and opportunities of millions.

    • Those who have stolen the children, the homes and hard-earned emotional and financial investments of millions.

    • Those who have lied and perverted the truth and used the sufferings of men, women and children to obtain advantage and to promote and impose evil ideologies on humanity.

    • Those who have taken the wealth and the trust of millions and claimed to be defenders of the global environment.

    • Those who have blindly ignored the truth and the reality of the crimes being committed in their name, remained silent and have done nothing.

These people are charged, in the name of all humanity, with the crime of Gendercide.

    Freedom of Expression

February 22, 1943, 9am... Three students from the University of Munich are brought to trial for treason. The trial lasts until 1 pm and by 5 o’clock all are dead. What have these three young people done to cause the top justice of Hitler's People's Court to personally oversee the trial? Why are their voices silenced? And how many more innocent people will have to die before they are heard?

    Thoughts are Free

...The Revolution that tore apart the ordered stability that once characterized British life was largely unopposed. What used to be called, derisively, "the establishment" lost its nerve and its voice. The old certainties had crumbled so quickly that no one defended those virtues that once had made Britain great. Instead, they were surrendered without a fight. "One of the most startling and alarming features of cultural revolution," Mr. Hitchens writes, "is the speed with which it overwhelms the past, along with its savage intolerance of the opinions and customs it replaced."
As for Canada, nothing much was ever built here to need overthrowing. Canada might be said to be a nation that passed from infancy to senility without going through the intervening stage of maturity.

    — Ian Hunter, professor emeritus in the faculty of law at the university of Western Ontario, writing about Peter Hitchen's book The Abolition of Britain—From Winston Churchill to Princess Diana (Encounter)
    The Report, July 9, 2001, p. 23

...If, in fact, they could be separated, freedom of the press would have to supersede even freedom of speech in importance to the democratic process, for unless the electorate can be apprised of situations and governmental actions, freedom of speech loses its function in the political process.   If the people are not freely and accurately informed, freedom of speech is a small luxury an enlightened dictator might well permit his subjects with little risk to his power.
....But one thing is clear: When the government begins to deny  the legitimate responsibility of the press (and has the power to enforce that denial), or when the press begins to distort its own role or to shirk or deny its own duty, then democracy is in serious trouble.

    — Dale Minor, in
The Information War : How the Government and the Press Manipulate, Censor, and Distort the News

     (1970, p. 17, 19)

Dale Minor describes the information war as a conflict between government and the press, although occasionally he alludes to the circumstance that the press at times dictated government policy, such as when (p. 20) he states that "In the course of half a century the United States had witnessed a full spectrum: from the period when the great goblins of American Journalism, Messrs. William Randolph Hearst and Joseph Pulitzer, literally drove a weak President into an unwanted and unwarranted war, to the voluntary muzzling of the press in response to the imperatives of total mobilization [as in the Vietnam War].
However, it is unfathomable that he could not foresee and stress that the evolution and unchecked growth of the freedom of the press would lead to an enormous escalation of the power of the press, that "power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"  (Lord Acton), and that therefore there would not only be active collaboration between the government and the press, but that it would inevitably happen that the press (primarily the news media that is) would formulate and dominate virtually all aspects of domestic and foreign policy of all of the western nations.  Thus the press prostitutes itself now to such an extent that Ted Byfield stated:

The elites of today are not the ostensible leaders of government, church, commerce and industry. They centre themselves instead in three areas of society: the interest groups, the media and the bureaucracy. The interest groups propose, the media endorse, and the bureaucracy enact. The politicians and the leaders of business, cowed by the media, acquiesce.

Ted Byfield, in the Alberta Report , March 9, 1998, page 44

Lord Acton, in a letter to Bishop Mandell Creighton, April 1887:

I cannot accept your canon that we are to judge Pope and King unlike other men with a favourable presumption that they did no wrong. If there is any presumption, it is the other way, against the holders of power, increasing as the power increases. Historic responsibility has to make up for the want of legal responsibility. Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men, even when they exercise influence and not authority: still more when you superadd the tendency or certainty of corruption by authority. There is no worse heresy than that the office sanctifies the holder of it.

And Melanie Phillips wrote, describing the all-pervasive lying of the BBC:

Over a vast range of issues — big business, Conservatism, family values, America, Europe, Northern Ireland, the Middle East, climate change, abortion, multiculturalism — the BBC fails to be dispassionate, objective or truthful.

Both present and former BBC names have spoken about the Left-wing group-think that saturates its coverage. In his recent book Can We Trust The BBC?, its former journalist Robin Aitken provides example after example of its bias to show that we cannot. And only yesterday, the Centre for Policy Studies published an excoriating analysis by the writer Sir Antony Jay — co-author of the brilliant BBC TV comedy series Yes Minister — of the BBC mindset to which he acknowledges he himself once subscribed.

He paints a picture of a BBC in which arrogance and a false sense of moral superiority combine with gross ignorance of the real world to spread an ideology ‘based not on observation and deduction but on faith and doctrine’, and into which all events are wrenched to fit....
